广东省农业科学院茶叶研究所

　　广东省农业科学院茶叶研究所成立于1959年。全所占地面积66公顷，其中茶园面积30公顷。现有职工53人，其中科技人员25人（高级职称6人，中级职称8人）。设有茶叶加工、品种、栽培、植保、新技术等5个研究室，以及鸿雁茗茶研究发展中心、广东茶文化培训中心、旅游及粤北市场部、广州市场拓展部、办公室、科研科；此外中国农业科学院茶叶研究所国家茶树种质资源圃——华南分圃、全国茶树品种区域试验点、广东省茶叶科普教育基地同时设于本所。
　　建所以来，立足广东，服务华南，为我国茶业发展和广东名优茶生产提供良种、栽培、植保及产品开发加工等系列技术支撑。先后承担了各类国家、省（部）、市厅级科技项目研究任务，获科技成果40项，国家专利5项，出版科技专著11部，发表学术论文300余篇。在高香茶树品种选育及茶资源开发利用、有机茶生产、创新名茶加工技术等领域处于国内领先水平。
　　在新的形势下本所立足广东茶业发展的科研搞开发，市场开拓促科研的的发展策略，科研与生产、产业紧密结合，创立“鸿雁茗茶”品牌，以技术成果转化为重心，用科技推动广东名优特茶业产业化建设与发展。本所汇集了国内外茶树种质资源500余份，选育出国家级茶树品种英红一号、秀红、五岭红、云大淡绿和省级茶树品种英红九号、黄叶水仙、黑叶水仙等7个高香优质茶树良种，以及引进台湾、福建等地优良品种在生产上大面积推广应用，取得显著社会经济效益。无公害、绿色食品、有机茶研究已在全省各大茶区建立示范基地，形成新的增长点。名优茶开发已取得各种名誉称号，产生了良好的社会经济效益，保健茶、茶食品、茶饮料、深加工技术完备，产品开始走向市场。

A brief Introduction of Tea Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GDAAS)

The Precursor of Tea Research Institute is “Yingde Tea Experimental Station” co-operated by provincial office of public security and agriculture in 1959.It was integrated into Guangdong academy of agricultural sciences and renamed as now in 1973. Now, it has 53 employees and 66 ha total area, including 18 ha experimental tea fields, 1200 sq.m. synthetically technology multi-storied building, 600 sq.m. labs and 800 sq.m. trial working-shop of tea processing. Besides, there has advanced processing machines and equipments for processing black tea, green tea, oolong tea and famous tea.
　　In the technology and researches aspect of this institute, there have settled 5 laboratories, including tea processing, planting, varieties, tea plant protection and specialties. It places emphasis on applied investigations, and during the state from 1979 to the 8th five-year plan, it had acquired 30 items of research achievements. “Jinhao tea”, “Yinhao tea”, “Dayinhao tea”, “Jinxuan oolong tea”, “Yinghong 1” and “Yinghong 9” black tea, “Lingtou dancong oolong” etc. won champions of superior famous tea and golden prizes in the superior famous tea contest of Guangdong province. “Healthy oolong tea” won the prize for excellent technological new products of Guangdong province.
　　 What’s more, it had researched and formulated several local tea standards, such as “Black fanning tea standard of Guangdong province”. In addition to, it always undertaking items of bio-chemical analysis, quality inspection and appraisal for tea products those made in Guangdong province. It has finished 1200 person-time specialization training for different groups of society.
　　Facing market economics actively, it lays something as following stress on whose jobs. Such as, selection and cultivation of new tea varieties, synthetically planting and cultivating techniques of tea trees for high yields, improvement of black tea characters, developing new superior and famous tea products, synthetically utilization of tea, protection of tea trees and popularizing mechanization of plucking tea, development of new techniques and new products.
